Fire Damages Home In Newark-Area Subdivision

Newark – Just after 8:40 this evening the Christiana Fire Company, along with crews from around New Castle County responded to the unit block of Hunting Ridge Road, in the Country Creek subdivison, for reports of a home on fire.

Responding units were alerted that a resident may be trapped inside the home.

Reports from the scene indicate that the flames where quickly extinguished and soon after the Fire Marshal was called to the scene.

Heavy damage could be observed to the front of the home.

No injuries were reported, medics on the scene were released within minutes of arrival.
