Loaded School Bus Involved In Minor Accident In Newark, No Injuries Reported

Newark – Just before 9:00 this morning Delaware State Police responded to the intersection of Route 896 (South College Ave.) and Old Baltimore Pike for reports of a vehicle accident involving a school bus.

Upon arrival, Troopers found a school bus, loaded with children, and a utility truck off to the side of the road.

The bus remained on scene while Troopers investigated the accident.

Just before 9:30 the bus left the scene under it’s own power.

No injuries have been reported.
