Pedestrian Struck On Cleveland Avenue In Newark

Newark – Just after 5:30 this afternoon crews from Aetna, Hose, Hook and Ladder, along with Newark Police and New Castle County Police responded to Cleveland Avenue in the area of the Infinity dealership for reports of a pedestrian struck.

Upon arrival, crews found on male patient suffering from minor injuries. The patient was evaluated but refused transport to the hospital.

One lane of Cleveland Avenue was blocked as crews worked to clear the scene.
