Update – Wilmington Police Statement

Wilmington – The Wilmington Fire Department are currently battling a vacant house fire located in 1629 W. 4th Street (6:47 am).

W. 4th Street from Rodney Street to Scott Street will be closed to traffic.

Area residents are currently being evacuated.

Breaking Report

Wilmington – Wilmington Fire Fighters have responded to the intersection of W 4th St & N Rodney Street for reports of a structure fire.

Crews are currently working to knock the fire down. It’s unclear if the structure is a home or a business at this time.

Primary and secondary searches for patients is clear. No patients found.
