New Castle – New Castle County Police are currently investigating the death of a 47-year-old female that occurred in the community of Wilton.
Today, May 7, at approximately 2:30 a.m., New Castle County patrol officers were dispatched to the unit block of Carleton Court for a check on the welfare. Police located a women inside the residence deceased under suspicious circumstances, according to police.
Officials said the criminal investigation unit has assumed the investigation. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
