Claymont – Delaware State Police are investigating a serious crash involving a motorcycle that occurred at at approximately 5:15 this afternoon.
Rescue crews from the Claymont Fire Company, New Castle County Paramedics, Delaware State Police and Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) were dispatched to the intersection of Harvey Road and Green Street for an accident involving injuries.
At least one patient is believed to be seriously injured.
As a result of the crash, Harvey Road is closed between Wilson Avenue and Green Street. Motorists can expect delays in the area and are advised to seek alternated routes of travel.
