Update: Early Morning Fire In Bear Guts Home

Bear – At approximately 4:17 this morning crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder along with mutual aid responded to Airdrie Drive for reports of a house fire.

Upon arrival, crews found smoke showing from the house. They quickly began a search to determine the source of the blaze. The incident wrapped up several hours later as crews and crews and a Deputy Fire Marshal cleared the scene just before 8:00 am.

The occupants of the home were able to safely exit the home before firefighters arrival, according to Newark Fire Chief Andrew Bowerson.
