Happening Now: Crash In Hockessin Sends Car Off The Road, Limestone Road SB Shut Down

Hockessin – Rescue crews from the Hockessin Fire Company, along with crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company, and Delaware State Police have responded to the intersection of Limestone Road and Valley Road for reports of a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Upon arrival, crews have found two vehicles with heavy damage, one off the roadway into a pedestrian walkway and traffic signal box.

One patient was evaluated at the scene and has refused transport to the hospital.

We’re awaiting an injury report on additional patients, if any.

The intersection is partially shutdown as crew work to clear the scene and make repairs to the  traffic signal box.
