Happening Now: Crash On Route 896 In Newark. Crews Reporting At Least One Trapped

Newark – Just before 9:30 this evening rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police responded to the intersection of Route 896 and Route 40 for a motor vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, crews are reporting that at least one patient is trap.

The driverĀ of one of the vehicles has been extricated and is being transported to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
