Newark/Pike Creek – Just before 10:30 last evening, Tuesday June 27, Rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with New Castle County Paramedics (Medic 3), New Castle County Police and Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) were dispatched to the unit block of Creek Crossing for reports of a stabbing.

Not much is known about the incident at the early stage but indications are that the patient was stabbed in the upper body.

At this time it’s unclear if this was an accident or if police are investigating this as a crime. County Police have yet to release information regarding the incident.

Although alerted, Trooper 4 was not used to transport the patient.

This story is developing and will be updated as more formation becomes available.
