Felton – Just before 5:45 this evening, Wednesday, July 18, 2018, rescue crews from the Felton Fire Company, along with Delaware State Police and Trooper 2 (Delaware State Police Aviation Sussex) responded to South Dupont Highway in the area of Cantebury Road for reports of an injury accident.
En route to the scene, responding crews learned that a Kent County Paramedic had witnessed a single vehicle rollover with ejection.
Upon arrival, crews reported that ejected person was in serious condition and that Trooper 2 would be utilized.
Within minutes of their arrival, Trooper 2 transported the patient to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center. A second patient was transported to an area hospital by ground.
