Wilmington – Rescue crews from the New Castle County Paramedics, along with Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) and Delaware State Police have responded to I-495 NB at the Christiana River Bridge for a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.
Upon arrival, crews are reporting that the rider is seriously injured. Trooper 4 has landed on the highway and is in the process of loading the patient.
Update: The rider has been transported to Christiana Hospital with a trauma alert and is undergoing treatment.
