Wilmington – Last Thursday, August 9, 2018 officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Brookside Avenue, in the community of Brack Ex for the report of a stabbing, according to police.

Officials said upon arrival, the officers learned that the 29–year-old victim had already been transported to a local hospital.

After speaking with witnesses at the scene,  officers were able to establish that the victim, girlfriend and their 3-year-old child were in the area of Brookside Avenue waiting for friends. While there an unknown white male approached the vehicle from the rear and attempted to speak to them.
