Just after 2:30 this afternoon rescue crews from the Citizens Hose Company of Smyrna, along with Kent County Paramedics and Trooper 4 responded to the intersection of Hay Point Landing Road (Route 9) and Shorts Landing Road involving a motorcycle.
Upon arrival, crews ordered the road closed.
Early indications are that the rider was injured in a single vehicle accident.
While Trooper 4 was en route to the scene, Command alerted them to a cropduster that was in the area.
Trooper 4 was able to land at the scene and the patient is en route to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center in Stanton.
