Police: Suspects Numbering Two Still On The Loose After Stealing $200 In Diarrhea Medication

The Newark Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two shoplifting suspects. On Saturday, September 15, 2018, the Newark Police responded to the Acme in College Square Shopping Center for a report of multiple shopliftings by the same two suspects over the course of two weeks, Sgt. Gerald Bryda. The first incident occurred on Sunday, September 2nd at 7:41 a.m., the second on Sunday, September 9th at 8:30 a.m. and the third occurred Friday, September 14th at 8:25 p.m.

Byrda said in all three incidents, the two suspects stole over the counter Anti-Diarrheal medication totaling over $200 in value.

The first suspect is described as a white female, 20-30 years old, wearing red pants and a dark shirt. The second suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, wearing dark pants and a red t-shirt.
