Newark – The Delaware State Police are continuing to investigate a pair of bank robberies that occurred on consecutive days last week, and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Michael Austin.
Austin said on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 the pictured suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2011 Concord Pike and presented a demand note to the teller while implying that he was armed with an explosive device. On Wednesday, September 19, he committed a similar robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank located 1424 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, according to Austin. In each incident he made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

New Castle – The Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a Wilmington Manor area Wells Fargo Bank, that took place yesterday afternoon, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Michael Austin.
Austin said the incident occurred at approximately 2:18 p.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 1424 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle. A male suspect approached a female teller and provided her with a demand note while implying that he was armed with an explosive device. The victim teller complied with the demand by turning over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect who then exited the bank, and was last seen on foot towards Stahl Avenue. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6’0”-6’3”, 160-200 lbs., wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
On Tuesday a slimier incident occurred when a suspect robbed the Wells Fargo in Fairfax. That suspect also claimed to have a bomb.
That incident occurred at approximately 11:14 a.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 2011 Concord Pike, Wilmington. A male suspect approached a female teller and provided her with a demand note while implying that he was armed with an explosive device. The victim teller complied with the demand by turning over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect who then exited the bank, and fled in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6’0”-6’3”, 160-200 lbs., thin build, balding, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
