Police: Domestic Stabbing Incident Sends Two To Emergency Room

New Castle County Police (NCCPD) are investigating a domestic-related stabbing incident that occurred this morning in the unit block of Court Drive.

At 9:47 this morning, patrol officers were dispatched to the to an apartment complex located just east of the Route 141 and Lancaster Pike intersection for reports of a stabbing, according to police.

Upon arrival, patrol units were able to secure the scene and contact the parties involved. Both a 54-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman were transported to a local hospital with lacerations and contusions.

Detectives from the New Castle County Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived on scene and have assumed the investigation. They are not searching for any additional suspects or victims.

This is an active and ongoing investigation. More information will be forthcoming according to an NCCPD Spokesman.
