Three Transported To Hospital After Rollover Crash In Newark

Friday afternoon, at approximately 5:25, New Castle County Paramedics and personnel from the Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company, Christiana and Delaware City Fire Companies were dispatched to the 100 block of Lake Drive, in the Pencader Corporate Center, for a motor vehicle crash, involving a rollover.

Arriving County Paramedics found a motor vehicle crash with multiple patients, according to Paramedic Senior Corporal David McKinney, Jr. Although the vehicle did rollover there was no entrapment. A 32-year-old woman was evaluated on scene for injuries to the shoulder. She was transported to the Emergency Department at Christiana Hospital on board an ambulance from the Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company, accompanied by a New Castle County Paramedic.

Two other patients were transported to the hospital for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries via Aetna and Delaware City Fire Company ambulances.

All patients were stable at the time of transport.

Delaware State Troopers were on scene and are investigating the crash.
