New Castle – At 10:16 this morning, rescue crews from the Wilmington Manor Fire Company responded to Churchmans Corporate Commons (Route 273 at Route 58) for a vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles.
Several witnesses told First State Update that the road was closed, at least partially, while officers investigated the scene. One reported that officers were still on scene at 1:00 this afternoon.
We did not receive notice from DelDOT or any other agency regarding restricted lanes or road closures during the incident.
A witness reported that Delaware River and Bay Authority Police and County Police responded to the scene.
No word on injuries.
