Happening Now: Five In The Water After Boat Fire Near Chesapeake City

Chesapeake City,  Md. – At 7:48 this morning Cecil County rescue crews responded to 111 River Road, the Harbour North Marina, for reports of a boat fire.

While en route crews were advised that the boat was now docked with flames and smoke coming from the vessel.

Arriving crews reported the boat was fully involved at the end of the dock.

Crews requested blankets shortly before reporting that five people were soaked and cold after being pulled from the water.

At 7:55 crews from the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown, Delaware were requested to the scene to assist.

Fire Marshals have responded to the scene.
