Middletown – Rescue crews from the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police have responded to South Canal Road for reports of an auto accident with injuries.
Crews are reporting that the vehicle is down the rocks and partially into the water.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of the vehicle rolled the vehicle early this morning at around 12:30 and was trapped overnight.
Crews are reporting that the vehicle rolled at least once before entering the water.
As of 9:10 this morning the patient is en route to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
