Edgmoore – Yesterday, Nov 25, at approximately 4:15 p.m. officers from the New Castle Divison of Police Patrol Division were dispatched to E. Salisbury Drive in the area of Bedford Drive, in the community of Edgemoor Gardens for a reported shooting.
County Police Spokesman M/Cpl. Michel Eckerd sais prior to the officers’ arrival, a 28-year-old victim had already been transported to a local hospital. There he was treated for a single gunshot wound to an upper extremity and released.
Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived on scene and have assumed the investigation.
