Authorities Update Old Baltimore Pike Crash That Injured Two

At approximately 8:20 hours this evening, New Castle County Paramedics, Christiana, and Delaware City Fire Companies were dispatched to the intersection of Old Baltimore Pike and Norwegian Wood Drive for a motor vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found 2 patients. The first patient, a 59-year-old male was found in the care of emergency medical technicians. The patient suffered injuries to his face, head, chest, and leg. The second patient, a 21-year-old female was found in the care of emergency medical technicians. The patient suffered injuries to her pelvis and leg.

Both patients were treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via Christiana Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patients were in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
