Wilmington – Just before 8:30 this morning official with the New Castle County Police said that an accident in the 1800 block of Newport Road has a closure of the road.
We are being told that the scene is an active investigation. The alert said that Newport Road is closed at Kiamensi @ Newport Rd & Old Capitol Trail @ Newport Rd.
Officials at the school said that the road is not closed in front of the school so the road is likely closed at Kiamensi Street, not Kiamensi Road.
