Possible Shooting Victim In New Castle, Details Are Few

New Castle – At around 1:30 this morning, rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company responded to the Somerset Square Townhouses for reports of a shooting, according to witnesses.

One witness at the scene tells First State Update: “I was woke up by a strange noise … didn’t sound like a gunshot but several NCC police some K9 units 2 ambulances and a fire truck arrived to get a man out of his vehicle”.

Not much is know about this incident at this time. New Castle County Police, who witnesses say were on scene, have not alerted us regarding this incident.

The witnesses said that a man was pulled from a vehicle by rescue crews and evidence technicians were on scene until around 4:00 this morning.
