Newark – Firefighters from across New Castle County are responding to the Christiana Town Center, at 301 West Main Street for reports of a serious gas leak.
Command is reporting a large accumulation of gas inside the Five Below. Crews are reporting that they have located a broken gas meter.
Crews have evacuated the store and are checking nearby stores.
Update: 9:04 Command is reporting that the building has been ventilated. Crews are en route to repair the gas meter.
