Update: Car Fire Sends People Running At DMV Building

Minquadale – Just after 12:30 this afternoon firefighters from the Minquadale Fire Company, along with crews from the Wilmington Manor Fire Company responded to the Department of Motor Vehicles at 2230 Hessler Blvd for reports of a car fire threatening a building.

While en route a Delaware State Trooper on scene reported that the car was fully involved.

A witness at the DMV said that the fire sent people running from the building in a post on our Facebook page.

Another commenter posted that the car had just been restored.

It does not appear that fire spread to the building. A view of the DMVs live view cameras show that everything is back to normal in the building.
