Firefighters from across New Castle County are responding to the Farrand Village Apartments located at 14 Deville Circle for reports of a fire.
Crews en route are being told that a dog may be trapped inside the apartment.
Arriving crews are reporting light smoke showing and a fire on the first floor.
Update: Crews have brought the incident under control.
Update: Crews reported that the dog is on the side of the home. No condition was provided.
