Happening Now: Rescue Crews Rushing To Carousel Park, Person In The Water

Pike Creek – Rescue crews from the Hockessin Fire Company, New Castle County Police, Paramedics, and Dive Team, and the Mill Creek Fire Company are responding to Carousel Park for reports of a person in the water.

Early reports indicate that someone has fallen in the water while they were trying to rescue two dogs.

Update: Two divers have just entered the water.

Update: First diver has reached the victim.

Update: Victim is out of the water.

Update: The patient is en route to the trauma center. Early indications are that he was in the water for 15 to 20 minutes before being pulled out by the divers.
