Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Announces Death Of Lieutenant

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company regrets to announce that it’s Fire Lieutenant Jason M. Faulkner, Sr. has passed away today – January 1, 2019

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company wishes to offer its condolences and deepest gratitude to the families and loved ones of Jason Faulkner. We wish to offer the Faulkner Family, Bixby Family, King Family, and extended families our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Jason joined the Delaware Fire Service in July 1996 and assisted the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company in the following capacities:
Junior Firefighter; Active Firefighter; Second Assistant Chief; Captain; and Lieutenant.

Jason has been awarded the Green Cross Award via Hurst – Jaws of Life multiple times for life saving practices in vehicle rescue as well as Indian River’s Firefighter of the Year and Top Incident Responder for many years.
Jason joined the United States Marine Corp and served four years.
