Police Arrest Three In Shooting That Injured 18-Year-Old Woman

Wilmington Police have arrested three men in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier this month.

On Monday, January 7, at approximately 11:24 p.m., Wilmington Police responded to the 700 block of N. Dupont Street after reports of a shooting. There, they located an 18-year-old female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Second Shooting Monday Night Injures 18-Year-Old

Members of the Wilmington Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division were able to identify three suspects in the shooting, and arrest warrants were issued, according to police.

 

Police have arrested and charged:

Marcellis Dandy, 18, who resides in the 1600 block of W. 8th Street, was arrested on January 10, 2019, and was charged with the following felony offenses:
Assault First Degree
Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
Conspiracy Second Degree
Dandy was arraigned and was committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution on a $130,000 cash-only bail.

Aaron Jackson, 19, who also resides in the 1600 block of W. 8th Street, was arrested on January 14, 2019, and was charged with the following felony offenses:
Assault First Degree
Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
Conspiracy Second Degree
Jackson was arraigned and was committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution on a $130,000 cash-only bail.

Messiah Woodall, 18, who resides in the 2700 block of N. Washington Street, was apprehended by members of the United States Marshals Task Force on January 29, 2019. He was arrested and charged with the following felony offenses:
Assault First Degree
Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
Conspiracy Second Degree
Woodall was arraigned and was committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution on an $82,000 cash-only bail.
