Reports: Troopers Chase Two Shoplifters Through Mall Parking Lot

Newark – At around 4:30 this afternoon, a Delaware State Trooper contacted 911 dispatch and alerted them that he was pursuing two shoplifters on foot at the Christiana Mall.

Reports from the scene indicate that Troopers responding to the scene were told that two African-American women, both wearing Hijabs, were fleeing with merchandise on foot along the I-95 on-ramp.

Responding Troopers were able to assist and the two women were taken into custody behind the Cabellas near the mall.
