Second Shooting Monday Night Injures 18-Year-Old

On Monday, January 28, at approximately 9:06 pm, Wilmington Police responded to the 700 block of W. 6th Street for a ‘shots fired’ complaint.

Upon arrival, police made contact with an 18-year old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated on scene and was transported to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Through investigative measures, it was determined that the incident occurred in the 700 block of N. Madison Street.
