Happening Now: Pedestrian Struck In Lewes, Road Closed

Lewes- The Delaware State Police are currently on scene of a serious crash involving a pedestrian.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at approximately 12:58 p.m. on Haslet Road and Ross Road located in the Governor’s Development off of Gills Neck Road, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Haslet Road in the area of Ross Road is closed at this time.

Motorist should expect delays in this area and are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.

The investigation is in its early stages with further details being released as they become available.
