Delaware City – Firefighters from across New Castle County are responding to the refinery in Delaware City for reports of a commercial structure fire.

Early report indicates that crews are staging near the refinery’s fire brigade station.

Images from DelDOT cameras show a massive fire in the middle of the complex.

Update: Crews are reporting that fire is floating on top of the water on the ground.

Update: Crews are reporting that they are trying to get to the shut-off valve.
