Man Stabbed Multiple Times Flown To Trauma Center

Wilmington – At 12:00 this afternoon rescue crews from the Wilmington Fire Department, St Francis EMS, and Trooper 4 responded to the 100 block of West 20th Street for a stabbing.

While en route, crews learned that the alleged assailant was still inside the residence. Police were able to place the scene under control as medical crews arrived on scene.

Upon their arrival, crews found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to reports from the scene.

The on-scene commander determined that Trooper 4 would be utilized and a landing zone was set up nearby.

The patient was transported by air to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital in serious condition.
