Update: 15-Year-Old Girl Struck While Riding Bicycle In Hockessin

 

At approximately 5:20 this evening New Castle County Paramedics, Hockessin Fire Company and Delaware State Police helicopter were dispatched to the unit block of Nathalie Drive in Manley for a pedestrian struck.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient, 15-year-old-female, who suffered injuries to her leg and head. The patient was treated on scene and transported to Alfred I. DuPont Children’s Hospital via Delaware State Police helicopter. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport, according to New Castle County Paramedics Spokeswoman Yvonne Russell.

New Castle County Police Department is investigating the incident.

Hockessin – Rescue crews from the Hockessin Fire Company, Medics and Trooper have responded to Nathalie Drive for reports that a vehicle has struck a bicycle.

Upon arrival, crews have alerted the dispatch center that Trooper 4 will be utilized.

Trooper 4 is currently en route. A landing zone has been set up at the ball fields off of Valley Road.

Update: The patient is en route to the landing zone via ambulance.

Update: The patient is en route to A.I. DuPont via Trooper 4.
