Delaware Memorial Bridge Toll Rates Increase On May 1, 2019

DRBA

New Castle, Del. – On May 1, 2019, at 12:00 midnight, Delaware Memorial Bridge toll rates will increase for all vehicle classifications.  At approximately 11:50 p.m. on April 30, southbound traffic into Delaware may experience a minor delay as agency personnel transition to the new toll rates and post appropriate signage in the toll plaza.  The new toll schedule is expected to generate about $32 million in additional revenue to fund the agency’s Capital Improvement Program. The Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) Commission approved the new Delaware Memorial Bridge toll schedule (see below) at the bi-state agency’s monthly meeting held on February 20, 2019.
