Just In: House Trailer Fire In Clayton Injures Three, At Least One Reported Trapped

Clayton – Just after 4:45 this afternoon Kent County firefighters and medics responded to the unit block of Kenton Circle for reports of a trailer on fire with a subject trapped.

Upon arrival, crews reported fire showing from the trailer and confirmed that at least one person was trapped inside.

Within about 2 minutes Command reported that the patient had been pulled from the structure.

Shortly after the patient was pulled from the home, Command requested an additional ambulance to the scene.

Command then requested that Trooper 4 respond to the scene as well.

Moments later Command reported that two patients had been pulled from the home and a third person may still be inside.

Shortly after that report, a secondary search of the home found no other occupants inside the home.

It’s believed that three people have been injured. Two of the patients were reportedly very seriously injured.

One patient was flown to Crozer Burn Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. The other two patients went to an area hospital by ground.

While all of this was happening firefighters were able to gain control of the fire, reporting that the bulk of the fire had been knocked down.

This is a developing story. Updates will be posted shortly,
