Man Shot Multiple Times Pronounced Dead At Trauma Center

Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at approximately 9:01 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3 in the 1400 block of West Third Street.

Arriving officers located a gunshot victim and immediately began rendering aid. The victim was transported to the trauma center at Christiana Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Early reports from the scene indicate that the victim was shot multiple times.

Investigators are working to determine the victim’s identity and make notifications.
