“Trouble Makers” End Delaware County Carnival Permanently

Officials with the Aston Township Fire Department said they will permanently discontinue the Delaware County Carnival, a local family tradition after fights broke out Thursday night.

In a post on Facebook, the department apologized for the disruption and told residents that “In an effort to maintain the great relationship we have worked so hard to develop with the residents of Aston we have collectively made the decision to [ms-protect-content id=”35525,36371,36374,36464,36481″]

shut the carnival down permanently.”

Many residents have taken to Facebook to share their thoughts regarding the incident and to show support for the fire department.
