16-Year-Old Cut During Knifepoint Robbery In Dover

Dover Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in the Simon Circle neighborhood on Sunday night, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said on May 5th, 2019 at approximately 9:24 PM, a 16-year-old male was walking to a family member’s residence in the 800 Block of West North Street from the Royal Farms convenience store.

The victim was approached by three juvenile black male suspects who punched and kicked him. One suspect held a knife to the victim, causing minor cuts to his face, chest, and arms, according to Hoffman.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment for his wounds. The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash they removed from the victim.
