Multiple Patients Transported To Hospital After Bus Crash On Route 141

The Delaware State Police are currently on scene of a crash involving a school bus and a special needs transport vehicle that has restricted northbound Basin Rd. (DE 141) to a single lane in the area of the I-95 southbound on-ramp.

Motorists will experience significant delays in the area and are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.

Early reports that this incident involved a hit-and-run haven’t been confirmed.

Breaking Report

Newport –  Rescue crews from the Minquas, Wilmington Manor, Christiana, and Cranston Heights Fire Companies have responded to Route 141 at I-95 sb for an accident involving a bus.

Reports from the scene indicate that three patients are being transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Indications are that this may be a hit-and-run accident.

Lane restrictions are in effect.
