Police: Four Charged With Stealing Over $100,000 From Middletown Amazon

On May 2, 2019, the Middletown Police Department’s Criminal Investigative Unit arrested four employees involved in an internal theft ring at the Amazon Fulfillment Center, according to Lieutenant Dawn Misino.

Misino said Middletown Police were contacted by Amazon Loss Prevention who advised they had received information regarding internal thefts. The investigation revealed that Tyaisha Butler, Taneesha Pinkett, Isaac Francis, and Shadaria Bell worked together to remove over $100,000 in Apple Watches over the course of several months, said Misino.

As a result, the Criminal Investigative Unit conducted search warrants leading to the recovery of several thousand dollars worth of Apple Products. All four Amazon employees were charged with Theft over $100,000.00 and Conspiracy 2nd. Pinkett, Butler, and Francis were arraigned and released on their own recognizance. Bell has an active warrant for her arrest.

Anyone with information related to this incident or the whereabouts of Bell is asked to contact Detective Joseph Womer at 302-376-9961 or [email protected]
