Dover Police Investigating Sunday Night Shooting

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 22-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his arm, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer. The victim reported being shot in the arm onĀ Barrister Place, Sunday night, June 16th, 2019 atĀ around 10:52 during an altercation with an unknown male suspect.

The victim was treated at a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delawarecrimestoppers.com; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
