Newark – Last evening, Sunday, June 2, 2019, at around 11:00 a police pursuit ended at I-95 NB at Route 273.
Over 20 Delaware and Maryland State Troopers were either involved in the pursuit or were on scene at its conclusion.
Reports from the scene indicate that the pursuit ended when the vehicle being pursued crashed. That has not been confirmed.
We don’t have much regarding the reason for the chase at this time, however, we do know that one person was injured and was evaluated by an ambulance crew from the Christiana Fire Company.
