Police Identify Man Stabbed To Death Early Saturday Morning

Wilmington Police are investigating the fatal stabbing of 44-year-old Jerrell Booker which occurred at approximately 4:00 Saturday morning.

Police officers responding to the area of 2nd and Walnut Streets located Booker suffering from stab wounds, according to officials.

Police performed first aid and attempted life-saving measures before Booker was transported to the hospital.

He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
