Just before 7:45 this morning, Saturday, July 27, 2019, rescue crews from the Citizens Hose Company of Smyrna responded to Route 1 at the 114 Southbound On-Ramp for reports of a vehicle fire.
Upon their arrival, crews found a vehicle fully involved and closed the roadway.
At least one lane of the road has been reopened.
Ambulance crews were not dispatched to the scene. No reports of injuries.
