Happening Now: High Angle Rescue Teams, Helo Responding To Incident

Rescue crews from Kent County Maryland have responded to 11545 Lynch Road Worton, MD for an incident involving a subject that is on a platform 80 feet above the ground. The subject reportedly passed out on the platform.

Maryland crews have requested that the Kent County, Delaware and New Castle County High Angle Rescue Teams respond.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that paramedics have climbed up to the platform and are reporting that the patient is in serious condition.

Maryland State Police Aviation’s Trooper 1 is about 15 minutes out.

Update: Command has reported that the patient has been extricated using a ladder truck. Trooper 1 and The High Angle Rescue Teams Teams From Delaware have been recalled.

Update 12:13 PM: Command is reporting that the patient is being lowered in a stokes basket.
