Claymont – Rescue crews from the Claymont Fire Company, New Castle County Medics and Trooper 4 have been dispatched to Harvey Road and Jackson Avenue for reports of a crash involving a motorcycle.
Early reports from the scene indicate that the motorcycle was involved in a collision with another vehicle. The rider was thrown from the bike and suffered serious injuries.
Update: Crews have packaged the patient for transport. Trooper 4 is about to land at the baseball field at Harvey Road and I-95.
Update: The patient has been transferred to Trooper 4 and they are now en route to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital.
Update: Trooper 4 is on the ground at the hospital at 7:58.
